I’m sure there are quite a few internet entrepreneurs who are burning to find out if they can really make a realistic income with google adsense? You see all these ads and you see all these sites with adsense plastered all over them and wonder, does google adsense really work? Or rather, can it work for me?
Truth be told I have been using adsense for a few years now and I have to say that my adsense paycheck is a stable, much appreciated addition to my monthly income. Here are a few things I learned about using google adsense:

Adsense works best on sites with consistent content and strong, keywords
For example: Whether you have a hair site or blog: If the text on your site clearly focuses on a particular topic or topics that advertisers are interested in then you can be sure to have relevant ads or your site that your viewers will gravitate to clicking.

I always make sure my adsense background and link colors match the design of my site so that they are easily integrated into my site design. Blended ads work best.

I make sure to have ads either at the top of each page or on the top of either the left/or right hand side. Try to have your ads be one of the first things a viewer sees without taking away from the actual content of your site.
Like many web entrepreneurs, I’ve used Adsense for several years, but for a long time I wasn’t seeing much of a return. After making less than $20 in about 2 years, I decided to get serious about the program so that I could make sense of what Google Adsense is all about. And now, after doing the research and putting plans into practice I make $20 on Adsense in a few of hours.
If you think about it, if you make $30 on google adsense every day for a month, you can generate an extra $900 a month just from hosting free ads on your site! It’s a great thought, which has now turned into my reality. One of the first things I learned when i became a Work at Home Moms is how to pay my rent with my Google Adense revenue, and so can you.
